Remember the zombies in Night of the Living Dead? Or one of those movies. The zombies refused to die, (because they were dead of course). They kept yelling out, "Brains. Brains. Braaaaains!" Boy that was a stupid movie. I don't know what it is about structures and especially forces that makes it so difficult. I began to look at forces and boy is it tough. I'm determined to improve, if not master the topic. Just gotta find a groove and keep studying. (I'm sorta lucky it's all in one exam for me.)
Really mastering the thought process of simple forces "in static equilibrium" is sooooo hard. Engineers can do this stuff easy like a warm knife can cut butter.
I'm going to try and get some help from an engineer. Use whatever resources you have and don't rush. Generally, I think the more confident (i.e. prepared) you are before you go into any of these exams the better. Maybe even more so for these two exams. Keep studying and and putting in the time and effort.
If you took those exams of course, then... just study something else! Good luck and keep studying!
